What
is Wedding Photojournalism?
Wedding Photojournalism is a style of wedding photography that
provides a documentary approach and avoids the posed, and prompted look that more traditional
wedding photographers might use. While there is nothing at all
wrong with the traditional style of wedding photography and
maybe preferred by some couples, wedding photojournalism provides
more realistic pictures that better captures the true joy and celebration of a wedding
day. A wedding photojournalist is less interactive with the
bride and groom which gives the couple the freedom to spend more time with their wedding guests than time spent
posing for pictures.
Simon Wilson is an award winning photojournalist working assignments for
major Canadian and International publications for the past 14
years. Simon offers his photojournalistic approach to capture
your wedding day from start to finish.
He is available to cover local or destination wedding events.
Simon blends into the scene of your wedding and captures the "decisive moments" of
your family, friends, your love and emotions of the day. The
collection of images will be a visual story for you both to
cherish. Your pictures will have a natural and candid appearance
which will convey the true spirit of the day as it unfolds.
You will receive albums containing 4x6 proof prints and a CD-R
